Charity Fashion Show

People are were invited to show their support for some good causes while enjoying the latest fashion trends. Bath and North East Somerset Council chairman Councillor Rob Appleyard was hosting an Elegance in the Afternoon charity fashion show. It raised money for the Royal United Hospital's Forever Friends Cancer Care Appeal, The Carer's Centre and Julian House. The show took place at the Banqueting Room of the Guildhall on April 27.
This Fashion Show had two different sets for photographing; after hair and makeup the models came to a set where all the strobes were setup ready; and the second was more of a fly on the wall documentery shoot covering the main show. The later images will follow, this blog is about the studio shoot. In which we actually only has 30minutes to shoot the models before the call for the main event. Speed was of the essence and there were a lot of models to shoot.

The lighting was simple, only using 2 lights and on the Phase One I used a 0.9 ND filter to stop right down to keep the beautiful depth of field of the 80mm schneider lens.
My assistant Mark was awesome and worked his butt off; also managed to film a little bit of the shoot. I'm really happy with the results.
